Taking A Break

This blog is taking a sabbatical. This morning, I had a confrontation with an eighteen-wheeler. It left both me and my Explorer worse for wear.

My left hand is broken, and I'll be shopping for a new car.

I will be offline for at least a week.

Look for me to return around December 1.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

I'm very glad you're still alive, but that must have been a really scary experience. I hope you heal quickly, and recover soon from the shock and the physical injuries.

So sorry, Maya!

I'm glad you're okay otherwise.

Oh Maya... I'm so sorry. Rest up, spoil yourself, and get well soon!

Yikes. Take care, get better and we'll see you on the other end.

You deserve the break.

I mean pause, not broken hand!

We'll all still be here when you come back.

Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes. I'm thankful to be alive.

My left hand will be in a cast for eight weeks. It hurts like hell, and makes typing near impossible.

I'm on the good drugs: hydrocodone for pain, flexeril for swelling and an experimental drug to prevent PTSD (a beta blocker usually used for hypertension). So, I'm covered.
