Now States Are Getting Into the Act

On April 30, I reported that the Justice Department is reviewing the Google settlement.

Then on Friday, Reuters reported:
State attorneys general are looking into a proposed settlement Google Inc reached with author and publisher groups allowing the Internet company to digitize millions of books . . .
And, of course, the court still has to ratify the deal.
