This is a reminder that the World eBook Fair started yesterday. As many as 300,000 books are available online for free download for a one-month period from July 4 to August 4 at http://www.worldebookfair.com.
The books include fiction, nonfiction, and reference books, most of which are no longer protected by copyright.
This initiative is sponsored by Project Gutenberg, the oldest digital library.
For the World eBook Fair, more than 100 e-book libraries are donating books for download during the month of July. Among these is the World ebook Library (http://www.worldlibrary.net), which normally charges $8.95 a year for access to its library of over 250,000 ebooks.
Stop in and browse.
